Large-scale photovoltaic power plants and new thin film technologies and products take Europe by storm: The 4th PV Industry Forum invites entrepreneurs, suppliers, and service providers in photovoltaics to a two-day symposium in Munich.

23rd European Photovoltaic Solar Energy Conference (EU PVSEC) and Exhibition (1st to 4th September 2008) will be held at the in Valencia, Spain.
Event 30. Oct. 2008, Nice, France: International Workshop on Building Integration of PV (Nice, France, from Oct 30, 2008 10:00 AM to Oct 30, 2008 04:30 PM)
The main objective of the workshop is to bring installers, industry and the research sectors from PV and building sector together, in order to highlight the potential and chances of building integration of PV (BIPV) and to join efforts for the preparation of a European standard and regulations regarding BIPV. The present status is that each European country has it own regulations and demands on certificates or guarantees for BIPV, which makes it difficult to enter the market.
Event 31. Oct. 2008, Nice, France: International Workshop on PV System Monitoring and Performance Assessment (Nice, France, from Oct 31, 2008 10:00 AM to Oct 31, 2008 04:30 PM)
The rapid growth in photovoltaic installations over the last few years requires new approaches in the measurement and assessment of system performance, moving from simple determination of initial system losses to lifetime monitoring and fault detection. In the context of the PERFORMANCE project, the European Guidelines for PV System Monitoring are being updated and extended to address a wide range of users and applications and to reflect best practice in the industry.

Event Power Measurements in the PV Industry (Hotel La Palma , Stresa, Lago Maggiore, Italy, from Sep 10, 2009 10:30 AM to Sep 11, 2009 03:00 PM)
In the framework of the European project IP PERFORMANCE, the Joint Research Center of the European Commission (JRC), with the support of EPIA will organize a workshop on power measurement of PV modules in the industry at Stresa on Lake Maggiore, Italy.
Event 3rd-Dec_2009_IP Performance Final Forum - Setting the Standards for the PV industry: "From PV module testing to system performance" (Hotel Monte Malaga, from Dec 03, 2009 10:00 AM to Dec 03, 2009 06:00 PM)
On the 3rd December 2009 there will be this Forum to discuss. On the 4th December 2009 an internal PERFORMANCE meeting will take place to prepare the final reporting.
